RefectoCil® No. 4.1 Red is a professional eyelash and eyebrow tint in an intense, rich red shade. It is particularly suitable for a wide variety of red and reddish hair colours, helping to harmoniously match the lashes and brows with the hair and create a bold, defined look. The tint result may vary depending on the natural colour of the hairs. On blonde lashes and brows, Red creates an intense red shade, while on dark brown hairs it adds a striking reddish shimmer.
RefectoCil® Red can be mixed with all 8 RefectoCil® shades to add warmer nuances and create customised colour combinations. When mixed with RefectoCil® Deep Blue, it can create rich, dark violet shades. The result is smudge-proof and waterproof and can last for up to 6 weeks.
Directions for use:
1. Preparation
- Remove contact lenses before the treatment. Thoroughly cleanse the eye area with RefectoCil® Micellar Eye Make-up Remover. If the skin around the brows is dry or flaky, gently cleanse the brows with the make-up remover before tinting.
2. Mixing and application
- In the Browista palette, mix approximately 2 cm of the selected RefectoCil® eyelash and eyebrow tint with Oxidant Cream 3% or Oxidant Liquid 3%.
Mixing ratio:
- 2 cm tint + 2 cm Oxidant Cream 3%, or
- 2 cm tint + 10 drops of Oxidant Liquid 3%.
3. Brow tinting
- Using a RefectoCil® brush, apply the tint evenly to the brows in the direction of hair growth. Comb through the brows with a rubber spoolie to ensure that the hairs are evenly covered with the tint.
Development time: 5-10 minutes, depending on the desired colour intensity. If RefectoCil® Blonde Brow has been used before tinting, a shorter development time should be observed - approximately 1/3 of the standard development time.
4. Lash tinting
- When tinting the eyelashes, ask the client to look up and position the selected skin protection product - RefectoCil® Eye Care Pads, Silicone Pads or Eye Protection Papers - as close to the lower lash line as possible.
- Using a brush, apply the tint evenly in the direction of lash growth, from the base to the tips.
Development time: 10 minutes.
5. Removing the tint
- Once the development time is complete, remove the tint with a damp cotton pad. Thoroughly cleanse the brows using movements both in and against the direction of hair growth.
After the treatment: Apply RefectoCil® Styling Gel to help maintain a well-groomed result.
Important:
- If RefectoCil® Blonde Brow has been used beforehand, the tint development time is reduced by 1-5 minutes.
- After a RefectoCil® Brow Lamination, Eyelash Lift or Curl treatment, the tint development time is reduced to 2 minutes.
- A patch test is recommended before the first application and after extended periods without tinting.
